Cement Render&Plaster
Brief Introduction
Cement plaster is a mixture of suitable plaster, sand, portland cement, and water, typically applied to masonry interiors and exteriors to achieve a smooth surface, while interior surfaces sometimes get a final layer of gypsum plaster.
Landercoll® hydroxypropyl methyl celluloses are used as thickeners and water retention additives in cement based renders and plasters mortar applications. However, beyond these main functionalities they impact many other performance parameters of cement renders and plasters.
Improvement of workability and crack resistance
• Landercoll® hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC K100) and Landercoll® Hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose (HEMC EM100) are used in cement render and plaster as a thickening and water retention additive.
• Landercoll® K100 and EM100enable temperature tolerance, improves fresh mortar density (air entrainment) and workability (rheology)
• Landercoll® K100 and EM100 promises high performance in stickiness and cement retardation at site
