Pharmaceutical Grade Methyl Cellulose (MC)

Uquick Methylcellulose is commonly used in oral and topical pharmaceutical formulations. In tablets, low- or medium-viscosity types act as binders, either added dry or in solution. High-viscosity types can also function as disintegrants.

Pharmaceutical Grade Methyl Cellulose (MC)

Our methylcellulose is suitable for various pharmaceutical formulations due to its inert physical properties. It is primarily used in medicine as a tablet thickener, protective colloid, auxiliary emulsifier, pigment, binder, and film-forming agent. It can also be used in eye drops, drug stabilizers, oral laxatives, mouthwashes, and corneal wetting solutions for contact lenses. Additionally, it serves as a hydrophilic matrix for sustained release, microporous membranes, or multilayer coating formulations.
