  • How do you use HEC thickener?
Typically recommended for thickening and hydration Disperse the HEC into the water and stir vigorously or try using a blender or mixer. Continue to hydrate the HEC in water until completely dissolved. There may be a delay in thickening - this is normal. Stir until the particles are dissolved.
  • About HPMC ,the higher the viscosity , the better the water retention effect?
The greater the viscosity of the cellulose ether, the better the water retention performance. Viscosity is an important parameter of MC performance. At present, different HPMC manufacturers use different methods and instruments to determine the viscosity of MC. The main methods are Haake Rotovisko, Hoppler, Ubbelohde, and Brookfield. For the same product, the viscosity results measured by different methods are very different, and some are even doubled. Therefore, when comparing the viscosity, it must be done between the same test methods, including temperature, rotor, etc. Generally speaking, the higher the viscosity, the better the water retention effect. However, the higher the viscosity, the higher the molecular weight of HPMC and its dissolution performance will be correspondingly reduced, which has a negative impact on the strength and construction performance of the mortar. The higher the viscosity, the more obvious the thickening effect on the mortar, but it is not proportional. The higher the viscosity, the more viscous the wet mortar will be, which is manifested by the sticking of the scraper and the high adhesion to the substrate during construction. But it does not help much to increase the structural strength of the wet mortar itself. During construction, the performance of anti-sagging performance is not obvious. On the contrary, some modified methyl cellulose ethers with medium and low viscosity have excellent performance in improving the structural strength of wet mortar. The greater the amount of cellulose ether added to the mortar, the better the water retention performance, and the higher the viscosity, the better the water retention performance.
  • Is the drop of putty powder related to HPMC?
The drop of putty powder is mainly related to the quality of ash calcium, but not to HPMC. The low calcium content of ash calcium and the inappropriate ratio of CaO and Ca(OH)2 in ash calcium will cause powder loss. If it has something to do with HPMC, then the poor water retention of HPMC will also cause powder drop.
  • How about OEM/ODM branding and packing?
Blank bag, Neutral bag, and OEM bag are available and more options. Also, we’d love to make your private label on bags help doing marketing.
  • What’s your idea if I replace the grades I’m using now? You know, I’m using VINNAPAS® 5010 N by Wacker and MH60001 P4 by Tylose, what’re your equivalent grades?
Yes, we have the equivalent grade, please send an email to sales@landu-China.com for more details.
  • I noticed that both your HPMC K200 and HEMC EM200 can be used in tile adhesive, what’s the difference on the earth?
HPMC K200 and MHEC EM200 have the same high viscosity, so they both can be used in adhesive. The main difference between them is the difference between HPMC and MHEC. Compared with HPMC, the chemical structure of HEMC has more hydrophilic groups, thus it’s higher water retention performance at high temperatures, as well as good thermal stability. So, if the weather in your local in the following conditions, like the outdoor temperature, is higher than 30℃, humidity higher than 30%, and wind speed is higher than 30m/s,then Landercoll® MHEC is highly recommended.
  • How do I know the dosage of Landercoll® HPMC K100 used in wall putty powder? Can you provide the formulation?
YES, The formulation for main applications is offered. However, the practice dosage is normally adjusted according to the local raw filler materials, climatic conditions, processing techniques, and legal requirements. Please feel free to contact us, send an email to info@landu-China.com, our tech engineer team will provide you with professional consulting services
  • What is the shelf life of Landercoll® cellulose ethers and Accurate® VAE Re-dispersible polymer powder products?

Products Recommended Evaluation/Shelf Life Date (from Date of Manufacture) Conditions of Shipment and Storage
Landercoll® all grades 24 Months in bags The product should be stored closed and kept indoors
Accurate® all grades 24 Months in bags The product should be stored closed and kept indoors
The recommended re-evaluation/shelf life date is the length of time during which the product meets specifications when stored in accordance with recommended conditions. Beyond this date, it is recommended that the product not be used without further appropriate re-examination. The recommended reevaluation dates for Landercoll® cellulose ethers and Accurate® VAE Re-dispersible polymer powder products are based on an ongoing stability study in which products are stored in commercial packaging in warehouses in Jinan, Shandong, China. Temperature and humidity are monitored routinely, and the minimum and maximum temperature and humidity were 6 to 39°C and 5 to 100% respectively. Storing products at temperature and humidity conditions outside of these ranges may shorten the time period for product reevaluation.
  • If we have any or complaints after the shipment, which process should we follow?
Please contact our sales representatives within 30 days after the receipt of the products in case of any complaints.
  • Is your production process environmentally friendly?
Yes. Our plants are equipped with all the mandatory government permissions or certificates. Well-designed plants and correct installation ensure safe production. Invested US$1.5 million to introduce the MVR wastewater and waster gas treatment process, so that the production of zero discharge of wastes and ISO14000 passed.
